You bring strong senior leadership, financial analysis expertise, experience-based business judgment, and a strong desire to improve internal reporting, controls, due diligence, discovery, and business learning. You will lead human capital and knowledge formation and system enhancements to deliver best-in-class automation and analytics, driving an engaged and motivated department reporting on revenue, operating expenses, capital investment, and system capacity needs and utilization, informing key decisions made by senior management. In this high-profile role, you will partner closely with relevant internal and external partners to deliver a differentiated, world-class product to senior management and the board of directors. Are you up to the challenge? Provide thought leadership in the creation, enhancement, and timely and accurate reporting of Department-level KPIs. Lead the annual forecasting, planning, budgeting, and analysis function working closely with key stakeholders across the organization (including but not limited to the sales organization, business unit leads, and corporate strategy) to develop long-range strategic plans, annual budgets, and operational analysis and reporting. Build and present monthly business reviews in partnership with business unit leads to senior management with accurate, timely, and meaningful insights for the business providing analysis and reporting of revenue results. Provide support for quarterly external reporting, including public guidance and earnings releases. Act as financial partner to business unit leads in decision support. Develop downside, base, and upside cases for new and emerging services, geographies, customer segments, and network infrastructure, making go/no-go, continue/terminate recommendations to senior management. Approach activities as an enterprise leader, engaging and building cross-functional relationships to drive strategic initiatives, seeking new ideas and encouraging the team to model the same behavior. Model and foster a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior. Bring new talent to the business. Lead change by continuously assessing the need, championing initiatives, and navigating or removing obstacles. Provide leadership to team members, developing and stretching talent to maximize the function’s business impact. Work with cross-functional organizations to streamline processes, workflows, and ensure integrity of departmental projects. Rigorously scan for and eliminate low-ROI work products. Can you lead this organization? Qualifications: Degree in finance, Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred. Minimum of fifteen (15) years of financial planning experience, multinational experience a plus. Experience working within divisional or business unit type structure within a fact-based due diligence, highly analytical, and metrics-driven culture. Sincere appetite for continuous process improvement. Strong customer focus, understanding the strength of our financial partnership with business unit leaders and senior management is directly and powerfully connected to optimizing business performance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial and operating data and communicate succinct conclusions and recommendations. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to navigate and influence senior executives across various functional areas. Excellent people development and influencing skills; ability to build and drive extended and virtual teams towards a collaborative environment. Ability to lead through change management. Ability to adapt to new technology quickly. Systems proficiency generally and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
