Medical Interpreter /Translator
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Monday-Friday
(No weekends and no holidays)

The Medical Interpreter/Translator provides interpretation and translation, both written and verbal of English and Spanish, to facilitate the delivery of audiology, speech, and occupational therapy services to Spanish-speaking patients, parents, and/or caregivers. The Interpreter/Translator role is vital in bridging the gap for our Spanish speaking patients by teaming up with a provider to assist in any interpretation needs.
Other duties include assisting with billing, scheduling, patient follow ups, translation of written materials such as training and home programs, updating patient charts, and performing other office duties as assigned.
This position is an office clinical setting and works mostly with children from toddler ages to young adults.
Work week is Monday through Friday, no holidays, or weekends.
Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED. Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or as an interpreter/translator. Experience/ability to use telephones and computers.
Must be fluent in Spanish and English.
