A day in the life of this position:
This position plays an integral role in extending the university's culture of care and excellence into the digital space through the university website because virtually anyone who has a meaningful interaction with the university will visit the website at some point. The web designer makes that experience stand out from the crowd and draw in users. This goes far beyond simply making text updates to web pages - the designer is a proactive part of the marketing team who proposes new ways to improve user experience (UX) and move visitors toward completing marketing conversion actions.
