Pay: $50-62/hr based on experience
Job Title: Shipping & Logistics Manager
Location: Remote candidates are accepted (must support EST time zone) or in Lexington MA if on-site work is desired
Schedule: Full-time, start time is flexible but must start by 9 am
Duration: 1 year initially

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented individual with experience in clinical and commercial shipping, logistics and trade compliance to be responsible for shipping and storage of critical starting materials, drug substance, drug product and research material. The ideal candidate would have a degree in science and/or business and 3+ years of experience in a GxP environment and familiarity with CFR 19, 7, 9, 42, 49, 50, 40 and 21.

Key Responsibilities
•Schedule, execute and track domestic and international shipments of lab samples, raw material, drug substance and drug product
•Strong knowledge of proper shipping documentation, process and requirements for international shipments
•Ensuring accurate valuation of material and proper tariff codes
•Resolution of logistics issues with freight forwarders and customs brokers
•Analyzing temperature data
•Inventory management

Qualifications
•BS in Business/Supply Chain or related subject required
•3+ years working in logistics for Pharma/Biotech (GxP, GDP experience)
•Experience in management of shipping material from external suppliers
•Experience with temperature-controlled shipments
•Experience with tax and customs duties strategies
•Detailed knowledge of import/export requirements
•Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen, excellence in building and managing relationships
•Ability to collaborate professionally, effectively, and efficiently with internal and external stakeholders
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams including Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D The Fountain Group
