Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Product vision and strategy: Defining the overall direction and goals for the geospatial product, considering both technical capabilities and organization needs and requirements. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging geospatial technologies
  • Customer insights: Gathering and analyzing user feedback to understand customer needs and prioritize features accordingly. Use customer input to develop a minimum viable product.
  • Roadmap development: Creating a product roadmap outlining key features and development milestones based on department strategic vision, customer requirements and business priorities.
  • Feature prioritization: Evaluating and prioritizing features to maximize product value and impact.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with DTS engineers, designers, builders, and stakeholders to develop functional solutions. Align the product results with established data governance, standards and best practices.
  • Product Data Analysis: Analyzing geospatial data to uncover patterns, derive actionable insights, and identify opportunities for enhancing product features and overall user experience.

Skills and experience:

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GIS principles, data structures, and geospatial analysis techniques, with the ability to interpret various geospatial data formats and leverage them to drive product development and optimize GIS-related features.
  • Data analysis skills: Ability to interpret and leverage large datasets to inform product decisions
  • Communication Skills: Actively listening to stakeholders and effectively conveying the product vision and requirements to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and fostering collaboration throughout the product development process .
