We are a large food manufacturing with multiple locations nationwide! We are actively looking for an experienced Production Team Lead to join our 1st shift team (4am-2:30pm). Must have food manufacturing experience.

Position Overview
The Production Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of the production floor in a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team to achieve operational goals while adhering to safety regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise & coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and ensure efficiency
• Implement & maintain safety protocols and quality standards in the production environment
• Lead & mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement & teamwork
• Conduct regular inspections of the production process to ensure compliance with GMP & safety regulations
• Analyze production data & implement lean manufacturing practices to optimize processes & reduce waste
• Facilitate training sessions for employees on equipment operation, safety procedures & quality assurance
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained & any issues are swiftly addressed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production role within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong leadership & supervisory skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP & lean manufacturing principles
• Familiarity with production metrics and SPC (Statistical Process Control) methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Experience in maintenance and operations within a plant setting (preferred)
