Operational Sanitation Associate

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for distribution of all chemicals used for daily Sanitation Processes during the operational workday
• Dispense all chemicals used for cleaning during production
• Follows all work safety policies and guidelines related to chemicals
• Maintains the chemical warehouse in a clean and orderly manner
• Sanitizes equipment that has been repaired during the operational work day prior to releasing it for use
• Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Possess high standards and goals for self and be able to lead other team members to obtain the same
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Working knowledge of Sanitation Chemicals and Usage
• Understanding of Butterball’s Food Safety and Sanitation Principles: HACCP, SSOP and SPS
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Basic math skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
• Excellent Attendance, work and safety record
• Ability to interact with all levels of Management
• Once in the position, must complete forklift training and certified
