Looking for a Mig Welder to join our team in York, PA!

Ideal candidates have experience in pipe cutting & fitting, assembling and Mig welding a wide variety of materials. Must be willing to learn and be a team player.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques and tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, primarily in a construction site environment, where attention to detail and quality workmanship are crucial.

Duties

• Perform MIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet project specifications.
• Assemble metal components using power tools and welding equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
• Operate forklifts for the movement of materials and equipment as needed.
• Utilize micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions during fabrication.
• Engage in pipe threading tasks as required for specific projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with stick welding is advantageous.
• Experience operating power tools and heavy machinery, including forklifts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of construction site practices and safety regulations is preferred.
