Industrial Scale & Measurement (ISM) in Houston, TX, is seeking a Senior Calibration Technician to join our growing Calibration Lab team. Transferable Work Background:

• Quality Assurance Specialist
• Quality Control Inspector
• Electrical Specialists
• Field or Manufacturing Technician
• Instrumentation technician
• Precision Calibration Experts

Compliance and Accreditation:

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards for all calibration activities.
• Develop, update, and evaluate uncertainty budgets to maintain or expand the Scope of Accreditation.

Calibration and Technical Duties:

• Perform calibration, repairs, and general housekeeping duties within the lab.
• Apply a thorough understanding of calibration objectives and result assessment.
• Specialize in Physical Dimensional, DC & Low, RF, Force, and Temperature calibrations, with minimal supervision required both in the lab and at customer sites.

Leadership and Training:

• Train junior technicians in measurement fundamentals and best practices.
• Act as Onsite Lead when assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):

• Preferred Training: TMDE/PMEL training.
• Education & Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, or certification will be considered.
