Helping on development strategy projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research existing mainframe programs and documenting/flow charting findings.
• Enhance existing programs.
• Write custom one-time-only use programs to perform data modifications.
• Document change evidence for FSA/SOX compliance.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• No degree with 8-10 years’ hands on experience.
• Associate’s degree in computer science.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Master’s degree in computer science with 4+ years’ experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 3+ years’ SQL / DB2 programming mainframe experience.
• 3+ years’ IMS or CICS development experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with mainframe environment, preferably GIS Cluster C/A - COBOL development
• 2+ years’ experience debugging tools like Xpeditor, Abend-Aid, etc.
• 2+ years’ experience working with end-customers on IT requirements / testing.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in working with FSA/SOX Controls.

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Good communicator / clear English skills.
