Hofmann has an immediate opening for a Lounge Attendant at JFK, NY, in a First-Class Lounge. Our client serves meals to airlines around the world, providing over 1.5 million meals daily. We are looking for customer service staff for the lounge. Flexibility for any shift is important.Benefits:Starting pay of $23.54–$24 per hourMedical, Dental, VisionPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick)Responsibilities:Maintain lounge service standardsClean the lounge, bar, and kitchen during and after hoursAssist in preparing cold and warm food in the kitchenRefill buffet with food, drinks, and equipmentAssist the Lounge Supervisor with tasksHelp guests navigate the loungeComply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulationsMaintain a positive, professional approach with coworkers and customersJob Requirements:Accuracy and speed in executing tasksFamiliarity with industry best practicesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to multitask and concentrate with interruptionsPrioritize and delegate tasks efficientlyMaintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate the teamKnowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principlesConform to high standards of integrity and ethical behaviorWork well in a team to ensure a positive customer experienceRequired Education:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Required Experience:Equivalent professional experiencePhysical Requirements:Standing: Must remain standing for 50% of the timeWalking: Move around the kitchen areaLifting: Frequently move trays, dishes, pots, and pans weighing up to 50 lbs.Additional Information: By submitting this application, you consent to receive text messages from I.K.
