Responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant

Maintain employee database and records
Sort through emails and calls for the HR department
Display conflict management and proper decision making skills
Assist the HR manager with performing administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
Submit job postings online and manage the applicant flow
Coordinate orientation and training for all new employee hires

Preferred Qualifications of the Human Resources Assistant

At least 1-2 years of HR assistant experience
Strong data entry skills
Ability to use Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Ability to work independently and as a team
Must have strong communication skills
Must be familiar with HR laws and regulations
