Hiring Material Handlers !!1st shift 7am start Pay $25/hr Maple Plain, MN

Job Description

The candidate will pump, pour, blend, and package chemicals per batch manufacturing instructions. They will follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and pull quality control approved materials from inventory as detailed on batch sheets utilizing the proper equipment (forklift, reach truck, etc). The candidate will also perform physical inventories and maintain inventory counts through proper documentation of materials.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions and weigh out quantities of powdered or liquid chemicals into the proper mixing container or tank.
• Blend, sample, pump, and package finished product into totes.
• Pull required raw materials from the warehouse as detailed on batch sheets.
• Maintain inventory count daily.
• Operate all mechanical devices used in the production area.
• Properly label all containers.
• Move finished goods to the appropriate designated area in the warehouse using a forklift/reach truck.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse or chemical manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure
• Able to lift 51-100 lbs frequently and 100+ lbs occasionally

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Plain, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
