Job Title: Salon Area Manager – Growth and Operations

Location: Nashville, TN
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Area Manager to oversee multiple salon locations within the Nashville area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, managing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of salon managers and stylists to achieve business goals. This role requires a strong leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on operational management to foster a high-performance culture and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:

    • Oversee daily operations across multiple salon locations, ensuring all salons meet company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency across all locations.
    • Monitor and analyze salon performance metrics (e.g., revenue, customer retention, and employee productivity) and take proactive steps to achieve targets.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor salon managers and staff to build high-performing teams.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support professional growth and development.
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
  • Growth and Business Development:

    • Develop and execute strategies to drive salon growth, including new client acquisition, retention, and upselling.
    • Identify opportunities for expansion, such as new salon openings or partnerships, and develop business cases to support these initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement local marketing campaigns and promotional events to increase brand visibility and attract new clients.
  • Customer Experience and Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure all salons deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards for client satisfaction.
    • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally and promptly, resolving issues to maintain strong client relationships.
    • Monitor and manage salon supplies, inventory, and equipment to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Financial Management:

    • Prepare and manage budgets for each salon location, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures where necessary.
    • Analyze financial reports and identify areas for improvement to maximize profitability.
    • Negotiate vendor contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a multi-unit management role within the beauty, salon and/ or in retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team building, coaching, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of salon management software and familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
