  • Strong technical knowledge of spacecraft systems, including bus, payload, subsystems (e.g., attitude control, propulsion), ground communications, mission data processing, mission planning, and command/control systems.
  • Proficiency in orbital mechanics and related analytical tools.
  • Experience with GEOINT mission systems (ground and space) and familiarity with mission readiness processes and control gates.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
  • Real-time operations experience as a spacecraft operator, spacecraft engineer, or ground systems operator, with knowledge of space operations and policies.
  • Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver who can define solutions for broad and abstract topics.
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal), with a track record of collaboration, consensus-building, and influencing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and personal judgment, with the ability to interact confidently with senior government executives.
