Salary: $25-$28

Responsibilities:

• Metalwork: Craft steel edging with precision, using welding techniques on site, that meet exact specifications and are free from defects.

• Fence Fabrication: Construct fences from a variety of materials including wood and metal, ensuring they are sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with design plans.

• Masonry: Build and repair patios, stone paths, and stone edging.

• Gate, Deck, and Retaining Wall Construction: Proficiently build and repair gates, fences, decks, and retaining walls from a drawing or plan. Diagnose issues and restore them to their original condition, maintaining safety, function, and appearance.

• Landscaping: Ability to contribute to landscaping projects (as needed) including: the laying of gravel beds, sod, and tree & shrub planting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Landscaping experience
• Basic carpentry skills
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Welding experience (preferred)
• The ability to communicate in English is preferred but not required
• Independent worker
• Clean NYS Drivers License
• Eagerness to learn and problem-solve
• Hands-on mentality
• Mechanical curiosity
• Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
• The ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a high-energy environment
• Confidence, enthusiasm, respect, and a positive attitude
