Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Golf Academy & Private Golf Fitness Instructor to join our team. This role combines golf instruction with specialized golf fitness training to enhance players' performance, mobility, and overall physical conditioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both golf coaching and fitness training, with a passion for helping players achieve their full potential. A passion for working with junior golfers is a must.
Responsibilities:
Provide private and group golf instruction for players of all skill levels, focusing on technique, strategy, and mental approach.
Develop personalized golf fitness programs that enhance strength, flexibility, mobility, and injury prevention.
Utilize advanced training technologies (e.g., Trackman, K-Vest, Force Plates, video analysis) to assess and improve performance.
Work closely with golfers to improve physical conditioning specific to their swing mechanics and overall game.
Lead fitness-based training sessions designed to enhance golf-specific movement patterns.
Collaborate with other client instructors and staff to create a comprehensive training experience.
Educate golfers on injury prevention, recovery techniques, and performance optimization.
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment that aligns with client Golf Academy's mission and values.
Qualifications:
Certified Golf Instructor (PGA, LPGA, TPI Certification preferred).
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or TPI Fitness Level 1+ preferred).
Proven experience coaching golf and leading fitness programs.
Strong understanding of biomechanics and physical conditioning for golf.
Ability to tailor training programs to players of all ages and skill levels.
Experience and passion for working with juniors (ages 10-18).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about golf, fitness, and athlete development.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
