Our client, a baby apparel brand, is looking to hire a Copywriter on a freelance basis, ASAP!
This role is hybrid in NYC on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities
- Convey the brands voice across all communication platforms, crafting copy for the website, email, social media (both paid and organic), print materials, and wholesale channels based on provided briefs.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that copy and messaging hierarchy are effectively integrated into the overall design across all platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in marketing, e-commerce, and design to maintain consistent messaging across channels.
- Develop engaging copy for the wholesale sales team, educating both prospective and current specialty retailers and department stores about Magnetic Me.
- Create SEO-optimized website content, including ongoing product descriptions for new styles, landing pages, and blog posts.
- Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to ensure that brand messaging remains relevant and impactful.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing or Communications.
- Four years of in-house copywriting experience with a reputable brand, along with a portfolio showcasing work across various marketing channels.
- Proficient in optimizing copy for SEO.
- Capable of writing copy for the full marketing funnel, from brand awareness to conversion.
- Genuine interest in the baby and parenting sector; experience writing for parenting brands is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities.
- Highly organized, with the capacity to prioritize tight deadlines and ensure follow-through.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with UX/UI is a plus.
