Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience handling bookkeeping functions for multiple clients, preferably within a public accounting or CPA firm setting. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and supporting the firm's CPAs with client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full-charge bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
• Maintain general ledgers and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare and file sales tax returns
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist with payroll processing and related filings
• Collaborate with internal staff and directly communicate with clients as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in a CPA firm or multi-client environment
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger maintenance
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and client-service mindset
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Experience with payroll systems is a plus
