Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and analyze design sketches, blueprints, and schematics.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards in all drawings.
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback and project changes.
- Generate 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and collect data for drafting purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists and cost estimates.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or Sketchup.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Familiarity with 2D animation software is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve design issues or conflicts.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Familiarity with NavisWorks for clash detection is preferred but not required.
