Apartment Maintenance Technician

Location: Kansas City, KS

Pay Rate: Earn $16/hour during your first 30 days, with a raise to $20/hour after 30 days.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

A local housing complex is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join their team! In this role, you'll perform essential maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, flooring, and painting repairs. Your work will ensure that the apartments are safe, functional, and well-maintained

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair & Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment and apartment units, including plumbing, painting, flooring, and electrical systems.
• Work Orders: Respond promptly to work orders and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
• Tools & Equipment: Use hand and electrical tools effectively to carry out repairs.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and follow directions to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Plumbing Knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing systems is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and structural systems.
• Tool Experience: Comfortable using both hand and electrical tools.
• Work Ethic: Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
