Our work depends on ABMS Systems Applications Administrator SME joining our team to support the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) next generation command and control (C2) system. HOW A ABMS SYSTEMS APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACTManages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systemsManages the organization’s computer systems’ workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and softwareProvides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architecturesTroubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issuesTrains end users on the proper use of hardware and softwarePerforms software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packagesMonitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levelsEnsures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutionsEvaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategiesWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: B.S. in Network Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT related discipline. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
